What to include for an accurate quote
- The part: a part number, dimensional drawing, photo or physical sample, simple drawings are sufficient to start.
- The application: what the part does, what it mounts to, and what it is exposed to: sun, fuel, heat, cleaning chemicals.
- Quantities: the immediate order and the expected annual volume.
- Firmness or density, if known, or describe the feel the application requires.
- Applicable standards: fire-retardant or industry specifications the part must meet.
- Timeline: when parts are needed.
